Please enable VoLTE feature with Marshmallow update
In India, Reliance Jio is launching its commercial service in coming months, It will support only Voice over LET (VoLTE) and No 2G/3G voice services. Many phones recently launched in India do support VoLTE feature and other manufacturers enabling this future with a software update. Xperia M4 Aqua has SD615 processor which inherently support VoLTE future, So please activate/enable this future with a software update.
Hi @m423, I can only speak for the information which I have available, and according to that there are more models which support VoLTE. Below is a list of all the devices which support it, given that other requirements are met such as support from the Operator and so forth.
Could it be that the agent in India was referring to devices which support it for the local market in India? I do not have market specific information, so it would be best to get in touch with your local support team to double check.
@prven Please see the list of supported devices above, I am afraid that outside of those models, there are currently not other Xperia devices which support VoLTE according to the information that I have available.
Hi @Jitendersingh1, are you in the U.K using 3 or EE as your carrier? I am afraid that according to the information I have, only Xperia XAs in the U.K using one of the aforementioned carriers support VoLTE.
