Illumination bar not working / lighting up after update 4.4.4 kitkat

After using an unoffical app from the playstore, to control the LED Illumination for M2 (D2303)  it stopped working completely, I even reset the phone using the PC companion. It won't show up for powering the phone on, any Sony app and all unofficial apps can't get it to work again.

My Xperia M2 had the same problem! After upgraded to KitKat it stopped working!Until this morning when i saw some topics saying to push that lilittle button from where the seem is for a few seconds and then start normally with power button! Now it's working just fine when i go to albums or music player!

Dear friend

I think I have this problem with my xperia m2 D2305 after updating software.finally i found a solution that on memmory card and sim slot we can see a small hole with golden colour.after closing all background apps u just take a needle and press it few seconds.the phone will shutdown .then u just power on the phone go to gallery open images .now illumination bar will flash
