XF9000 soundbar not playing Atmos on Xbox Blu-Ray

Hi guys

i brought a xf9000 soundbar for Atmos so it can go with the Xbox one x, I’ve set the Atmos up on Xbox and it works on games and Netflix, however when I put a 4K Blu-ray Disc in and play. It only plays in Dolby true-hd when I pull up the xbox display settings, but when I pull the display up for the soundbar it shows Atmos-True HD.

does this mean that Atmos is coming through or not? Also I what mode is the best Dolby speaker Virtualizer or sound mode on with option of vertical surround?

Hi @gazdack86

I'd say this means that the the sound bar is outputting the audio as Atmos just like all the other content (it wouldn't state this otherwise). I'm not sure why the Xbox is not showing this in the same way so if you want more confirmation, maybe you should try getting in touch with Xbox support.
