Hi,

When start up my AV receiver and TV, there's this crackling noise for a couple of seconds. After that, there's no sound output for like 10 minutes.

I've only hoocked up the TV viat TV out as well as via an optical cable.

Otherwise there's only me TV-box (receiver) connected to it.

I've been breaking my head what could be causing this. Once the sound's back, all is normal until next boot.

Hi

Does your TV have a HDMI -ARC port? If so, you will not need to connect the optical cable - I am assuming that this could be the issue.

Hi,

Actually it does, it's a KDL-55HX820.

OK, I've changed the HDMI to use that port and removed the optical cable (darn, probably I didn't have to buy it then).

I'll test it further and will let you know.
