My DVD Player can't play DVD-R

My DVD Player (Sony CD/DVD Player DVP-S525D) can't play burnt DVD-R (I have burnt some Tom and Jertry stuff for my kids and the videos are in mpeg format), when I insert the disk, it shows immediately the error message: No Disk. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Heromillion,

thats right it wont play it on your player,  you need to covert the image to an ISO file first, i have never used it as i have done DVD's differently, however use something like DivXtoDVD for that.

i have ripped many DVD's in the past and both DVP-S725D and DVP-S735D have worked brilliantly

My sony dvd, radio, will say its reading the dvd but thentells me there is no disc.
