Hi
I have a sony kdl40x3000 lcd tv and have connected it to a sony bdv f500 home cinema system.
the problem i'am having is that i have gone through 4 HDMI cables in the last 6 weeks. When i first connected the eqiupment everything worked fine, but then i coudnt get a picture through the HDMI cable, so i changed it and it was working fine for a while but now all of a sudden i again can't get a picture the screen goes blank.
my question is that since i keep going through new cables is it something that i doing which is making the cables not work. i.e does bending a HDMI cable damage it?
thanks
assim
I presume you have HDMI turned on on all products TV and BD Home cinema as well as mine works ok except you have to set up the audio out I find every time on BD playback as it defaults to linear all the time.
The only problem I have is my satellite receiver does not automatically switch the TV to HDMI when I switch the sat box on even tried connecting to the home cinema amp (Sony) but still no luck so does anyone know is there a special switching cable for this on non Sony products??
BTW all other Sony products switch over no problem.
