Firmware update for RDR-HXD770

Just got a new Sony Android Bravia tv and have tried to update my DVD Recorder firmware from 1.65 to 1.7, but disc with burnt software will not load, even tried installing version to update to 1.66 as suggested in the 1.7 download. Also reset recorder and gone through the initial start up before trying to load new software.

I currently have 134 Freeview channels but no HD channels. Anyone got any ideas.

 Do not know why it fails to update the firmware probably due to the way you burn the disk.

But if you do it to get HD channel forget it. The internal tuner do not support it. Never did. We are talking about 12 years ago devices.
