I've recently bought a BDV-880 home theatre system and I just can't seem to get audio from Virgin media channels through the system.
I can get DVD audio fine and can hear the FM static (haven't tuned the radio) so I know it works but nothing from the virgin Tivo box.
The box itself only has one HDMI port which is taken up by the lead going from the box straight to the TV
I have the red and the white jack cabels going from the AUDIO ports in the Sony box to the AUDIO ports on the back of the TV.
I have also bought an additional optical cable going from the Sony box straight nito the TIVO box but still nothing is coming out of the speakers when watching Virgin Media.
I've tried shuffling through the various settings on the theate system ie. TV, HDMI1, HDMI2 etc but nothing
It is so frustrating!
I'm not great with technology so if someone could message with some kind of idiots guide that would be great!
A simple step by step guide on how to do it right or how to set it up from the very beginning would be ideal..
I'm sure it's something simple but I just don't know what!
