I have recently purchased a BDP-S570. It is connected wirelessly to my home network made up of various XP and Windows 7 machines and a Buffalo NAS drive. I have updated with the latest firmware.
I have connected through to Windows Media Player 12 running on a Windows 7 PC and can a easily access movies, photos and music from this machine.
Could anyone suggest the best way to stream MOV files, taken on Panasonic TZ5 at 1280*720 resolution @ 30 frames/sec. I have tried using DIVX - this produces great images, but currently does not convert sound. Looking at the DIVX forums, this seems to be a known issue with MOV files.
I have also used Ultra QT Convert to produce a DIVX/XVID AVI file. This produces audio, but jumpy video. I believe this because it is trying to disply @ 25 frames/sec and so has to 'skip' frames
Any assistance would be appreciated....
