BDP-S480 doesn't read some DVDs
My BDP-S480 doesn't read some DVD (for instance some 007 movies). It shows "INVALID" disc. The disc is new/clean. Software version M07.R.0631. Any suggestion?

Hi Daniele,
Welcome to the Sony Community. You haven't mentioned if these discs did play before.
Can you follow the steps below -
- Make sure the inserted disc is compatible with the Blu-ray Disc player. Refer to the list of supported discs indicated in the instruction manual of the player
- Check if the disc corresponds with the correct region
- Check the disc for any cracks, scratches or fingerprints that might be interfering with playback.
- Wipe the reading surface of the disc with a soft dry cloth before placing the disc on the tray.
- Try to play the disc again.
Let me know how you get on?
Best wishes,
Sean Mc

I've been able (don't know how!) to play it once: I mean trying and trying opening and closing the disk dock at the end once it played. Now I purchase yesterday a new BD (Avengers Infinity War) and it doesn't work. May be it is damaged? Is it convenient to repair?
