Please add support for 1440p output on the PS5

Dear Sony,

please add the option for 1440p output for the PS5. There are some 1440p monitors that accept a 2160p HDMI signal and downsample it to 1440p (Samsung G5 for example) and that looks very clean. But wouldn't it be great if this next gen machine can do this all by itself? I mean Xbox can do it and so should your console. Or even go beyond simply downsampling a 4K image to 1440p to use with any gaming monitor out there. It would be phenomenal if you could add the option for a native 1440p mode with 120Hz, so people with a state of the art gaming monitor can enjoy the 120Hz mode as well. That's all, thank you very much!

PS: Don't forget about the VRR support you promised

I wouldn't be too surprised if both vrr and 1440 are both being worked in, and came in a future update together.
