wi-fi not turning on & sim not recogised

started having a continual pop- up that wouldn't go away on E1, had to do a factory reset - seemed to resolve issue, then started getting no service, couldn't make/receive calls/texts, only internet functions, then wi-fi wouldn't turn on, another factory reset hasn't resolved problems & now when turn on phone also get message says 'sim not recognised' - sim works perfectly in other phones, tried other sims in phone they also have same problems -

Thanks for reply - I have just tried that & still have same issues, sim not recognised & wi-fi won't turn on

Time to get your device inspected by your Local support

Have sent it off for repair after speaking to sony support - it was just under 1yr old so hopefully warranty issue. But Argos were totally unhelpful - don't buy your hones in there!
