What class is the microSD?
Try with at least class 6 card.
In this case, try to reformat the card in FAT32.

Hi
From a couple days ago I have had the same kind of problem with my Z5's Album app, where all my images and photos are not detected. When I receive an image from Whatsapp it also marks "THIS FILE DOESN´T EXIST ON YOUR SD" (the option for this app is set to AUTO SAVE IMAGES). When I use the Camera, it takes the picture but, when you try to see it, a "FAILED OPERATION" message is shown and the photo "disappears". However, if you browse in any other Gallery app (such as Piktures) or if you use a File Manager (File Commander/ES File Manager), ALL IMAGES ARE THERE in their respective folders!!!
I browsed the Play Store comments for the Album UPDATE and it seems I'm not the only one with this problem. The first time this happened I performed a full factory reset and there was no further problem, but last night I made exactly the same and it didn´t work out.
It just happened for the images, music is OK and my SD card is Class10. I´ve also tried thee Software Repair with PC Companion and just worked for a while. I also took the "Settings-apps-all-media storage, force stop and clear data.Restart" option and didn´t work out. Now it´s all down again =(
UPDATE:
In Safe Mode there was no problem. So What can I do to fix it in normal mode???
