Cant play music in earphones!

Hi,

I have had my Xperia E for a year now. For the first couple of months, I was able to plug in my earphones and listen to music without any problems. However, my phone started to play the music aloud even when my earphones were plugged in!! I have bought a variety of earphones and tried them all, none of them work!! I know the earphones are ok because I have tried them in my sisters and they work!! My phone is broken!!!
I was wondering whether anyone is in the situation or if this has happened to someone and they have fixed it? Please help me because I cant live without my music!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Tam.I suggest you try settings-apps-all-smart connect,clear data.Restart.

I have the same problem.  The supplied Sony earphoneshave this on the label:-

The suggested solution made no difference and I see many results in google for the same problem, bt none seem to actually work.

I am hoping that this forum can provide a real solution ...

the suggested solution from alexdon worked for me!!! wish it could help you!!! try it again and if it doesnt work, there are mobile phone shops that might be able to help. Good luck!!!
