battery charging issue on Xperia E1

I purchased an Xperia E1 exactly 7 days ago. It's a good phone.the battery charged till 100 percent on first 3 days,if I charge for 3 hours.but from past 3 days battery add shows only 83 percent even after 6 hours charging.it stops charging after sometime, even if battery plug is on,after reaching 83.I love this phone.I want a solution for this problem.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

First of all, check what is draining battery under settings > power management > battery/battery usage.

Hi i have been experiencing that same problem before but then i upgraded my OS too and the problem stopped, however, everytime i charge my phone it doesnt always charge within the normal 2hrs charging. Is that normal? Im kinda scared because around two to four days of daily charging, the 5th day it would stop in84%for so long so what i would do then is that while it is still plugged and charging, i turn it off then turn it on again and then thats when its percentage start moving until it reaches 100%, is that normal? Safe? Im really bothered by this. Please help me. Lately i am compelled to charge my phone while its only 55% because it tends to charge faster. Im really scared when it doesnt fully charge even beyond 3 hrs. Please help me. Im not too good with techy sruff but im really careful and most of my previous phones last for more than 3 years. Please help me with this concern. Thank you!
