Viewing Burst Mode Images as a video in PlayMemories Home

I like the ability on my DSC-WX5 to view burst images as a video by tilting the camera back and forth, but disappointed that this is not possible in PlayMemories Home once the photos have been transferred to my computer.   Nor does it seem possible to export them back to the camera - only a single frame is saved using the export function.

Does anyone know whether this is possible with PlayMemories Home?  I have version 1.3.00.04221.

Thanks.

Hello spindles7 - Welcome to the Sony Forums

I don't personally use PlayMemories so I cannot advise about this particular software. However, I find that other free downloadable options such as Irfanview (there are a range of free photo editors / viewers on Google) allow a large amount of flexibility when it comes to processing images so I would advise trying this.

On the other hand, if a fellow PlayMemories user has some further input about this then hopefully they can offer some further advice.

Thanks,

Simon

Thanks Simon.   Sorry for the delay in replying, but have been away and only just got back to looking at this.   I tried Irfanview, and yes indeed this program does allow the animation of the servies of burst images, but only once the series of jpeg files have been combined into a multipage tiff file for example.

Whilst the result is OK, it's not a smooth nor as responsive as when the images were originally on the camera.    But better than nothing - unless anyone knows better!

Thanks again,
