Replacing shutter for DSC-W55 digital camera.
No idea of repwir prices.
The sutter button popped off!
The base of the button must have worn as it is held in by a small spring. Unluckily I lost the parts.
Any ideas on using something else as a shutter button or any other advice please?

Hello awasawas - welcome to the Sony Forums
The most important factor here is the length of time that you have had the camera i.e. whether this would be covered by the standard warranty. For safety reasons, I can't really advise about making physical adjustments to the camera but if you do want to know about the official repair process there are full contact details available for Sony Customer Services in this forum thread:

Thanks,
Simon
