Could you help me to make a remote control for Sony DSC-W15 camera?
Who did that I would be happy to give some information.
Regards,
tamasflex
Hi tamasflex, welcome to the Sony Forums
The camera does not have a remote listed in the accessories on the official site page but it does have an AV port, which (on some cameras) works with Sony remote contoller-enabled tripods.
Remote control doesn't seem to be officially supported, however if you were willing to experiment a little I would suggest the best option would be to take the camera to a store and try it with a controller there.
Cheers
Mick
Hi Mick
Thanks for the reply.
Meanwhile I found the wiring diagram of the device.
Link:
http://monitor.espec.ws//files/sony_dsc-w7_407.pdf
See page: # 4 and #16 pins 6 (REG_GND) 8 (XSHTR_ON) - 9 (XAE_LOCK_ON).
And a drawing of the service manual level 2.
So I see where you need to make electrical connections.
The device works perfectly and I want to use for a biological microscope with a homemade adapter.
After searching I found:
