help for HX9V

I have a HX9V camera, am I able to transfer videos from it to my dvd recorder using aVMC-MD3 cable? I have tried, and get the sound but no picture. hope someone can help.  thanx

Hi sheilata3, welcome to the Sony Forums

It should work, assuming your recorder can handle AVCHD video; is it quite a recent one?

Assuming it can, make sure the yellow plug is also connected. If it is connected and you still have no picture, it's likely the device can't record the camera's AVCHD format. In this case you would first have to convert the video (using a PC) to a more compatible format.

My dvd is a sonyHXD560 if that means anything to you.
