DSC-HX9V UK 60p/60i VIDEO UPDATE?

I have the DSC-HX9V, is it possible to have a firmware update to enable 1080 60p/60i on the uk model. As my television supports these mode's and i would like to take advantage of them.

I think it may be physically possible to get 60i (interlaced) from the HX9V but I'm not sure about 60p, which is likely more to do with BD playback than HD recording, when you look at the way it's currently used.

Certainly no harm in suggesting it, although there is generally no way of finding out whether it will happen until an update is actually released
