Hey, I've been struggling with this problem for over a year now, and I'm starting to give up.
I have an old DCR PC5E camcorder in very good condition; everything is functional.
My DCR PC5E camcorder, when plugged into a computer (OBS) is only transferring the audio and not the video output.
This is independent of the cables as I've bought 4 separate brands and all have failed.
-OBS and Device Manager recognise the camera as an output
-OBS detects the audio of the camera
-All capture software (OBS), Camera etc0 show a black screen
