PXW-X180 camera not recognizing XQD card

I recently bought a XQD card and adapter to use with my camera which is a PXW-X180 Sony XD cam.

The camera won't recognize the card. The camera was updated to v4.10

Would anyone know how I can fix this or what I should do?

I've had the XQD card and adapter checked out and they seem to work fine in the shop so I'm wondering if its the camera's fault
