Hello, can anyone help me fix my Sony Xperia C4. I have had this phone since Jan 2016 and have never had this problem. When I try to connect to my home wifi the phone starts to continuosly restart (I see black screen with sony logo and blue wave screen). The only way to stop this is to force shut down by pressing power and volume button. NOTE: THIS ONLY HAPPENS WITH HOME WIFI. TWO DAYS IN A ROW I HAVE LEFT THE HOUSE AND THE PHONE JUST MAGICALLY STOPS RESTARTING AND FUNCTIONS NORMALLY. Today I reset network setting and did a factory reset on the phone when I was away from home. I have contacted support two days in arow and they tell me to do a Xperia companion hardware repair. I try to do this repair however I can never get past the step where I connect the phone and hold the volume low key NOTHING HAPPENS. Yesterday I did this step for 1 hour and just now for almost 2 (watched a full movie while doing this). I have read several posts in the forum with something similar and the solution they offer is Xperia companion HOWEVER THIS HAS NOT WORKED FOR ME AT ALL. Sony support has been of no help. Can anyone please help me?
I'm sorry to hear about your experience, could you test the phone in >>> safe mode with your house's WiFi?
I do not see how this would help as I did a total factory reset to see if something changed therefore I have zero apps, pictures, videos, contacts, etc currently on the device. Also if I turn on the phone it keeps restarting there is no way I can get the power off menu to appear. Please help. thanks.
