HI,
I have Sony c5 ultra dual. When I bought it in 2015, it used to charge in 3 hours (that time it was on Android lollypop. It's now on marshmallow.)
I have recently noticed that it takes lot of time to charge the battery. It took from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm ( 5 hours to completely charge from 0 to 100).
A few days ago it was on charging for more than 12 hours and still was not completely charged (this happened only once.)
I want to ask is it OK. I don't remember how much time it took earlier. It's been on marshmallow for a long time.
And also, does the charging time get affected if the phone is on 'stamina mode'? And how can I check if my charger is OK, is there any way?
Thanks .!
Hi again!
Based on our conversation and all the troubleshooting you have done, there is something not quite right with the hardware, since the battery should not go from 50% to 0% in a few minutes. The software repair is the last thing that you can try on your own, after that, the device will need to be examined.
I understand that there may be a cost, but having the device examined so you know what the cause is a good start and then see if you think it's worth to spend the money on having it repaired or not.

I've never charged more that 6 hours, so i think it's not normal 12 hours, as Jonas siad maybe you used yours smartphone in the time of charge? It can be that some apps discharging yours smartphone like some games and ect., it doesn't matter that you charging it, i mean connected with charger. I advise you to find information about charge process in Sony Mobile and ect and to read it
