model not supported

hi guys i tried to repair the software of my xperia c2305 using companion but an error pop out "model not supported this device is no longer supported by software repair", but before it was stuck in sony logo and the error is software repair error. can you please help me

Hey , got the same problem here. I`ve read many articles on forums and looks like you can try reinstalling the firmware using flashtool. But I still haven`t tried it yet.. Hope there is another solution to the problem.

@boytusok, welcome to our forum!

The Xperia C has reached end of support and that means that you are no longer able to update it or repair it using Xperia Companion as we no longer provide software for this model, that is why you see the "Model not supported" message.

@maxsimbiot, I'm afraid that I don't have any information if the software is still there and that you can do that, but you can read more about the process on the link below.

I will not be able to provide support for it though, but you can make a post on the Developer world part of the forum.

I hope that answers why both you get this error message in Xperia Companion.
