XH92 still has no sound from the HDMI inputs after playing xbox series x
So after Sonys new firmware update this week,im still having no sound when I switch the tv on. I always have to Restart the tv to get sound. Its starting to really pee me off. Its when I've played the xbox series x it always does it. everything is ok until I switch the tv back on. this is getting ridiculous !! been doing this since dec. I'm thinking about returning the bloody thing. The tv pic is great & I love it, but can't keep doing this. Anybody else getting this issue ?????

Absolutely ridiculous!! Been going on since Dec for me. We are now in the middle of Feb and still know fix. I'm having to restart the tv a least 3 to 4 times a day. I know you can down grade the tv to just run 4k@60htz and that solves the problem. But I bought this tv knowing it will run my xbox series x at 4k@120. So that's what I want !!! Yet this firm update doesn't seem to come. Totally disheartened with the bloody thing.

I assume you're referring to the latest version v6.0429.
If so, have you tried clearing the cached data (under Device Preferences - Storage - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data) then restarting the TV by holding power?

Hi chopsyuk, try a factory reset: Device Preferences - Storage - Factory reset. I believe this should end it. And even if you did it before, try it after the update.
