Hi guys,
I am wondering if you can help me at all. I am a professional videographer and have recently purchased a Sony FX3 to use as my A Cam when shooting for commercial clients. My plan was to use my Sony A7SIII as a B Cam shooting a second angle for interviews etc.
For the life of me, I cannot get the cameras to match. I am shooting both in PP11 S-CINETONE (reset to default). All camera settings are the same manual everything; G Master glass on both cams. The A7SIII has a lot more magenta, whereas the FX3 seems warmer with a green tint. Same File Format on both (XAVC S-I HD 25p 93M).
I know this is fixable in post-production, but it seems crazy the difference being so stark considering everything setting wise seems identical.
Does anybody have any suggestions at all to fix this? Am I missing something glaringly obvious?
Thanks in advance,
Mike
PP11 may be the same across all FX3s and A7IIIs but maybe is a little different between both cameras, that said. It seems to me that the most relevant setting is the Color Depth and maybe a slight bit of saturatio....
It might take you a bit of time to match them, but I think this should be all you need to tinker with.
Hope this helps!
