Photo and Video issues with Sony A7 IV

Hi. Just bought brand new Sony A7 IV with kit lens - having issue with photos and videos. See attached photo. As soon as face in my everything goes all grey, weird, and out of focus. Have tried with/without lighting, in auto mode and every other, reset factory settings, different picture profiles. 

Any ideas?
