Firmware update for Sony SLT-99 using Mac os 10.15

Hi,

How do i update the firmware on my a99v DSLR using a mac with os 10.15.7. apparently my operating system is not compatible.

Unfortunately, the camera is too old and isn't supported on 10.15 Catalina, according to the update page it is only compatible with 10.10 and older.

Which means you'll need an older machine to update it (Windows 8 or older is also an option).

Apparently this is the also the case with newer camera updates, I had to update it using someone else’s computer.
