What happened to 4 * 1 widgets ? On my Xperia

10 iii Android 12 , the widgets for any music or Media players, search engines that used to be size 4x1 now only look like that, they are 4x2 takig up to much space.  (See screen shots)  Does anyone have the same issue or knows how to fix it?

I just tested Sony music player and Simple Apps Music Player.

Simple files btw is recommended by @Strampke as a nice set of usefull adfree apps.

Hey @Frankey78, have you tried adjusting the font size by tapping Settings - Accessibility - Font Size?

I did change the font size. It didn't help. I tried different apps that use the 4x1 size widgets. Play Store version or fdroid store. Different Launcher. All with the same result. The phone is new and I didn't root it or something

Hey @Frankey78, have you tested the phone in safe mode as well to check if one of your apps is affecting it or not?
