1 IV and its extremely unpleasant issues for its wanna-be!

Dearest community,

We are a bunch of people testing Sony devices. Sometimes we stay in the shadows letting Sony screwing up by itself, sometime we shout about things that SHOULD NEVER ever exist for such a premium trademark. More, we are helping clients to solve their issues and to make indeed like.no.other smartphone trademark experiences.

 

So lately we reached a Xperia 1 IV (XQ-CT54 - check the exif!) and we tested partially with these conclusions that would be amazing if you can send them in a way to Sony engineers to be improved...

1. Very bad/odd/old pixel processing in many situations (shots took in Basic mode in the link below). It really needs a basic computational mode for basic shooting: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kt7aay4jgyboohr/AABk6GIC-pCklmhvBv-U7lVQa?dl=0

2. The building quality it seems very bad as long as sand particles are creeping between the margins and the glass screen... Have a look:

3. And not the last nor least: GETTING HOT!!! Dearest, did you know that every phone that has waterproof/water-resistant protection and under too much heat from inside or outside the isolators are getting weaker and weaker and bye bye whatever protection certificate it has? We are working in partnership with a service center and we were told that if the phone is in too much sun heat or cpu heat worse: both, event after few hours it was never under any waterproof/rezistance certificate. So why are these devices so expensive?! Software, hardware?!

 

In the name of Sony and still curious or die hard fan users send these to be fixed immediately!

With great sadness for users and Sony to implement its ideas in real facts.

Just so you know, the person that wrote that quote is not official employed Admin or employed by Sony.

None of the Experts here are, and nor is anybody else.

We are all just volunteers that try and help people and also try and keep this forum polite and a friendly place to

help other Sony product owners / fans. 

Have you contacted various Sony Head offices to voice your concerns?

Sony do not respond on this forum.

Sometimes some of the Experts may have a few extra powers available to them but you really need to get in touch with the company yourself to voice your concerns.

Edit: I've just noticed that you have called someone an 'idiot'. Don't do that again.

(Also it doesn't really make sense to be insulting when you are seeking help. It may make people with contacts in Sony

not want to help you at all 😉)

Dearest,

We are a bunch of guys, some more dynamic in attitude than others - that are using this profile.

Yes we know you are a helping hand community, but please, if someone does not know about these, let it be, don't push uselessly. We really do know what means Sony and Xperia and all its mobile devices till now.

We have flagged several times to Sony Support and nothing happened from July 2022. Unfortunately, seems that no one uses Xperia 1 mk4 nor testing like for other issues stated here for lower devices in the past. Please, someone helps too! Of course, for the software at least. We hope that the hardware will be ok, sadly no other option remaining.

Please avoid some words, do not take it personally or at least imagine the situation we are in, the facts are much unpleasant for us than some words!

Dearest, please take account for what it really matters in this forum.

Our proof is more sensible than your words. Are we here like on Tinder to talk nice? Sure, respectfulness is essential, but we are here to express about serious troubles that some people have because of Sony's carelessness. An 'idiot' word can vanish much sooner and easier, than the fact to recover such amount of money, having flagged so many times, so many issues with zero results! Please be empathic to situations overall! We are many using this account, and for sure you wouldn't be at any help to have 10 accounts for the same person, issue or device. So if some of here really do not have not a single clue nor using the devices/issues we flag, you have two amazing options: to be supportive in sending these to Sony representatives, or, mind yourself.

In our team, we solved the issue with language for now and hope in the future too.

Dearest admins, today, as you can see below, users having Xperia 1 IV dual Taiwan customization didn't receive the upgrades for more than a month. Please announce these to Sony. They are not answering and not getting the issues as before for any user. Thank you!

Hi, I am helping some other users. They told me about this change, but still doesn't work. Sony does not answer anymore like in the past few months, when directly by e-mail they were sending issues to Sony. It's sad that none of here can forward the issues stated here by users...

Hey AlexandruRai, why don't you/them call directly or contact via the chat to get an instant response? I doubt that Sony doesn't reply to emails. But you can give direct ways of contact a try then. Where are you based, by the way?
