Subwoofer disconnection - HT-NT3

Hi,

I have a Sony HT-NT3 soundbar and subwoofer. The connection between the soundbar and the subwoofer is very weak, it constantly disconnects the bass which makes the entire experience of the sound system rubbish as when the bass is going in and out it is very noticeable and annoying. The soundbar is connected via an optical cable to the TV.

I have tried a full factory reset of the soundbar, have checked the firmware is up to date and tried the ‘secure link’ setting. But this problem still arises.

please advise?

Have you tried moving the subwoofer closer to the sound bar?

I have tried it in different rooms and positions and the disconnections still happen.

This photo shows where the soundbar and subwoofer are now.

Judging by what you said you tried, I'd say there's not much more you can do apart from having the system checked at a service centre:
