That will tell you if it is the adaptor that is kaput. But make sure there is power from the mains to the adaptor; socket on, if switched, and take the fuse out of the plug and check it for continuity, make sure it isn’t blown.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No power on my Sony KD tv. Both remotes will not turn tv on. Probably the power circuit board but could it be the adaptor? Anyone else had this issue?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
