Sony Bravia KD65X7053 Banding on black screen

When Im hopping through channels and you get a quick glimpse of the black screen there is 2 or 3 ever so slight grey vertical bands on the left hand of the screen. Now this isn't a huge problem but when you are watching something and the lighting on the scene is low you can sometimes make out 1 or 2 of these bands. This is present from my sat box and when accessing Netflix etc - anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried adjusting the picture settings using Sony's guide?

It's also a good idea to make sure that your TV is up to date.

Yes - tried adjusting the picture settings and tv is uptodate - seems to get worse the more you increase the black level, but at the moment the black level is only at 60 anyway
