HI there

Skype is no longer supported on any smart TVs and hence the Camera on Sony TVs are now irrelevant.

When did this happen as I still have Skype on my tv but don't even use Skype, i managed to load up my camera once before I even properly started using it and this was only about 2 or 3 months ago and now I can't get the camera up at all

Its been about a year now since the announcement of Microsoft withdrawing Skype:

This is the latest and last announcement:

I know that last announcement states 30 June 2017 - I dont have an explaination on why its not working on your TV (service withdrawn early is my guess). At the end of the day, without Skype, there is no other function for the camera.

Hopefully this explains things better.
