Unable to load iPlayer

The iPlayer stopped loading on our Bravia KDL40W705C about a month ago - it will work perfectly via my iphone hotspot or from the laptop with an ethernet cable so defo not a wi-fi problem - have spent hours on the phone with Sony trying everything possible - Netflix and other apps all load properly. Router parental control also turned off.Any suggestions?

Sony says that it is a software problem rather than the tv but aren't apps an itegral part of the tv?

Hi there

Unsure if you have tried - but try factory resetting your TV. This can cure many issues. If that doesnt work, can you test 5OD and see if that works? (as its a UK based app)

thanks - Have done that - Sony now say they are working on the problem as it seems there are lots of us with the same problem - not sure if it's the TV or the BBC with a problem so am just having to wait

What is 50D?!!
