Sony Bravia CX52 - running adverts on the screen

Hello, I bought a TV Sony Bravia CX52, everything works, but sometimes on the sreen the line with description of the TV features appears - sometimes on the upper part of screen, sometimes on the bottom...I can´t get rid of it. It´s really annoying.

Hi,

your tv is set up and displaying in "shop mode", you would need to do a factory re set and set it up again using "home"

How do you do a factory reset to solve the problem of the stupid diplay mode coming up every five minutes?

Hi there

To factory reset the CX52x series TV:

Press [HOME] on the remote control
Goto 'Settings' and press [OK]
Goto 'System Settings' and press [OK]
Goto 'General Set-up' and press [OK]
Select 'Factory Settings' and follow the on-screen instructions.
