KDL-40R45C beeps on changing channel

Other than this our new TV is amazing, but this noise is threatening to drive me mad. I've looked at the other support advice and they suggest either going Home -> Settings -> Sounds -> Key Tone -> Off or -> System Sounds -> Off, but this TV has neither of those options, not even under Advanced Settings. In desperation I've looked in everything, including Eco "just in case"!

The most head-scratching part of it is it even does it when I change channels on the TiVo box, which is connected to the TV through the HDMI port.

Help?

Hi there

I have had a look into this... Most other Sony TVs you can disable the 'system sounds' or 'beeps'. But there is nothing in the manual to even suggest that this is even possible on your model TV. So unfortunately i have to conclude that it cannot be done on your TV.
