hi can anyone tell me i have a kdl-40r553c tv, what i need to find out is can the scart socket on the back of the tv give an av out so I can split a scart cable and mirror the tv image on another tv at the moment i am using the video out on my cable box to do this but this will only mirror the cable box if the scart on the tv in capable to do this then i can mirror any screen and not just cable tv

Hi there

According to the manual, your TV has a 21 pin SCART socket for input and ouput of audio/video. You would need to ensure that you have a fully wired scart cable. However, i do not know if what you are tying to do will work.

thank for the reply when i get hold of a fully wired scart i will try and will post the results
