KDL-37EX521 - after upgrade an issue to see video files

Hello,

Is about an issue after I make the last firmware upgrade from MySony account for this TV model. The firmware upgarde was made succesfully. But after that, I put the USB stick inside TV - detect the USB device - go to "Video" from meniu - select the name of USB stick - view the list of movie files (avi) - select one - a little circle spinning - and a message "playback unavailable". The video files does not work! To another TV Sony and Samsung works.

Can I make to see again movie filesc from USB stick?

Hi there

Your problem is probably because the avi file is encoded with a codec that the tv does not support. The following page is what this tv supports:

Before this firmware update this .avi file works! I tried to another TV Sony and TV Samsung and the same file works OK. Like I said, all this problem is from update from Sony for my TV.

Hi there

Unfortunately you cannot roll-back the firmware once updated. However, try resetting the tv back to factory default settings, as this can cure many issues after a fw update
