Hi there

First couple of things to try:

Ensure that you have the latest firmware installed on the TV

Factory reset the TV.

Test.

If that fails, you will need to figure out if its the TV itself or any device connecting to it that is causing the problem. Therefore:

Disconnect all devices connecting to the TV - just leave aerial cable and power cable connected. Test as long as possible to either confirm a TV issue or not.

If the TV does not shut down with nothing connected, add 1 device at a time (ie your satellite box) and test.

If it is the TV, you will need to report this to Sony to get this resolved. See HERE for contact details. If it is a device connecting to the TV, try replacing the HDMI cable as a first step.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
