M series netbook car charger question

hi All,

hopefully not too much of a daft question, does anyone know if i can get a car charger for the M series netbook, ie, VPCM13M1E, or if i left it on stand by with the lid down, would the battery last 8 hour+

Hi holidaychicken,

In-car chargers are available from a number of suppliers but these are not genuine Sony parts. You could try the following link but it will be necessary to give them a call as your model is not listed.

Alternatively an DC/AC power inverter, which are now fairly compact, used in conjunction with your standard power adaptor will do the same job at approx. the same cost.

hi Rich, thanks very much for the replies, i didnt even know you could get DC/AC convertors which i think would be the better solution.and cheap too
