This only happens in the OS environment, ie it works on startup and I can access the BIOS etc. It also happens when trying to install an OS from disc. A usb mouse and keyboard work ok but that is not an appropriate solution for a portable device under 2 years old. When the keyboard and trackpad stop working, the buttons and lights on the speaker cover part also become unresponsive.<BR /></P><P><BR /></P><P>On googling this issue, it seems to be common across the Vaio range but I can't find a solution anywhere.
