Hi i bought a vio SVS13A1S9ES,after sometime the vio care had to be updated,after downloading the update,i have had problem with a notice vbs sript not found

rich912 i've tried to remove the vio care update ,but am uable to,as i need the administrater codes,also tried to remove the care pack,but the same text appears about the administration notice .After downloading the update a notice said the download had failed,but it appears in the programs updates list

Thanks for takeing the interest,i know i'm not the only person with the problem

Hi africatwin2001,

Try running the CMD prompt with administrator privileges. To do this click Start > All Programs > Accessories > right click 'Command Prompt’– select ‘Run as Administrator’. Then type (or copy and paste) the following - schtasks.exe /Delete /TN "Sony Corporation\VAIO care\DelSelfPatch"

Hi rich912 tried the exe you sent me but a notice came up, invalid argument..is not recognised as an intrnal or external command operable program or batch file,thank's for takeing the time to write,if you have any more tip's i will try them . thanks

Support has responded as follows:

"Hi, Can you ask the customer to send us a screen shot of the CMD windows after the execution of the command. We need to check the results of the command.
So customer need to type the command while taking care of the spaces. Then press enter. Max the CMD Windows Take a screen shot Sent it to us Thanks in advance"

If you can please respond in this thread I will pass this on.
