I need help regarding a strange problem with a sony vaio vpcz21v9e serial no: 27546964-5000256.

It has a 256 GB SSD drive and was bought almost a year ago. The problem is that intermittently it displays this error message when it starts. It seems that the drive is not visible to the motherboard. Windows reports that a dump file is created... then reboots... but the dump file isn't there. It is if like someone removes the cable connecting the drive from the motherboard. After reboot... and not touching anything except the power button... operating system not found is reported again. After another reboot... windows launches : |. This is the second time that this happened. I am worried for the sake of the data on the drive.

The next step is to check smart data on the drive... momentarily it is not available because the person using this laptop (some general manager) is "busy".
