no it doesn't.

I have one and was aware that it does not work in europe. To be honest you dont really need the 3g anyway as you can connect to wireless networks with it anyway and download through that. Add to the fact that you can have thousands of books on it at any point in time...

No that won't work. The card didn't book into the cellpone net.

I have the same Reader (PRS-950), but I can't download ebooks from websites, it's a shame for that expensive reader.

BTW the browser didn't recognize landscape mode. That isn't that quality I've awaiting from Sony.

Could you let me know please, if the Wi-Fi works OK in Europe?

(I realise that the 3G wont as it's linked to AT&T)

I have contacted Sony, but they only reply saying that it's for Canada and US and that they aren't sure about operating elsewhere.

Also, if the Wi-Fi does work, can connection be made to UK libraries through Overdrive on the web browser to borrow eBooks?

It would be so much simpler if the 950 was available in the UK!
