Soundbar HT SF-150 not connecting to USB when connecting to record player

Hi folks

I usually use my Sounbar to connect to the TV via HDMI, but I recently got a record player which I'm trying to connect via USB (the input at the record player end is USB Type B). When I connect this the soundbar doesn't switch on / I am unable to change the input to USB - is there any way to solve?

Hi @Adamouma, is it a Sony TV? And have you tried connecting the soundbar to the TV using an optical cable?
