Why I don't have all of these scenes on my camera??? I have the last firmware on my Xperia M, but some of those are missing...

So is soft snap used to give or take away the blurry background?

And would the document mode be the best choice for detail when it comes to close, medium and long distance shots.

I also don't have all of them on my xperia m 1905. I think that list contains all the scenes that sony have made, eg you might only see many of them on either the xperia Z3 or some of Sony's DSLR cameras.

Even for medium range shots, such as photographing something 2- 5 meters away? Or what would you use?

Or rather what scene would you choose for taking a photo :

0.5 meters away, good light.

5-20 meters away, good light.

5-20 meters away, bad light.
