Hi, i have forgot the unlock pattern of my xperia m2 what can i do to unlock it or reset it??

Hi @Gilsa2,

I'm sorry to hear about this.

If you have a pattern screen lock on your phone, the only service that can remove this is the MyXperia service.

In your case this service isn't enabled in your phone, so the only option left is to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion.

Do note that this will delete all data stored on the internal storage of your phone and you will not be able to create a backup since you can't unlock the phone.

One problem when i start the programm and connect my phone with the usb cable it tells me to unlock it so i can use sony companion what i do?

Forget i see how to it and i dont need to unlock it.Thanks for the help

when i select repair software it ask me some thing and then he starts repair without the phone connected whats supose to do?

your device doesnt need to be connected when downloading the repair. it will prompt you when to connect your device again,,

have you tried to use google android device manager to unlock your device>?

@Gilsa2, The phone should be turned off during the entire repair process and not connected to your computer when starting with the repair process, later on you will be asked to connect your phone to your computer again, and it will continue to the next step.

@nolramlb, From what I understand it's a pattern password and these can't be unlocked with Android device manager, only screen locks with a PIN-code (MyXperia can unlock both pattern and password).

Let me know how it goes with the repair!
