Xperia m5 dual restarting

I have my xperia m5 dual, once a day it will restart once it get too Hot. I already put my phone to the service centerl but now still the same. Please give me other solution. There should be some software issue, and there is no update firmware from sony until now.

as you already have sent your device to the authorized service center, there is nothing else we can do, ( this is a user based forum) I suggest you take it back to the service center Local support, and before they release the device make sure to check it thoroughly.

yesterday I try do software repair using COMPANION, I still monitor until today. Hopefully restarting issue doesnot happen anymore.

Dear all,

Device restarting problem still happen, especially when it goes hot....even though i am using wifi....every day one time a day...there should be one restart...what happen?? I already bring to the service center before still happen, already fix software still happen.

Is there any new update on this??

There is no issue of overheating for me unless i stream videos for long time on 4g network(so it is normal). Better to perform software repair once again and recheck.

I think I found what is the cause and how to duplicate.

Yes correct, when it turns hot doesnot mean restart, i do streaming video 2 hours no issue.

I found device restarting, if I BROWSE Twitter official application for quite time more than 5-10 minutes then i switch to main menu or other application without CLOSING twitter totally (still in the background) then I turn off the screen, after that I cannot turn on the screen then restart comes. Sometimes it restart after I play twitter several times, or just in the first time then it restart.

It only restart when i switch off the screen and after play twitter

This is happen always when i am using twitter official application, but if i am doing other social media FB, instagram, mailing, or twitter alternative application, or gaming, this RESTART never come.

How to solve this?? Twitter official application is the most complete feature.

Temporary I can avoid, if before I switch off the screen I should close twitter apps totally.

Shall i complain to twitter developer??

Several days ago, i receive some firmware update, but after i install nothing change in the version.

But restart problem had resolve. Eventhough i play twitter and twitter video downloader naturally without closing background, there is no more restart.

Previously it was easy to duplicate the issue by playing twitter and twit video downloader

It should be solved i think
